Psychological Staff Do you Have What it Takes?
We are recruiting for two critical positions with our practice. Each will serve as a primary therapist for the practice, once serving mostly children and adolescents and one mostly adults. Excellent skills in treating a variety of conditions, dependability, energy, teamwork, ability to network are critical.
Child/Adolescent - Florida Licensed Psychologist. Currently we are recruiting a Florida licensed psychologist with pediatric and child experience. Experience with a range off pediatric psychology issues as well as ADHD and other common child and adolescent disorders is important. Strong child therapy experience. There is a no-compete clause for practice, so this position is for someone who wishes to stay, build, and maintain a full-time therapy practice with us. Full-time Position: Adult Psychotherapist. Must be Florida Licensed Psychologist or may consider exceptional resident. Broad therapy skills with depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, etc. Chronic pain and/or alcohol substance abuse experience would be a plus. There is a no compete clause, so this is designed for someone who want to build a practice and serve a role as being one of our primary therapists for the long-term. INTERNSHIPS - Unpaid volunteer positions. Gainesville Florida
Occasionally we will consider outstanding college students in or after their senior year or who are seeking experience in a dynamic clinic-like setting. Usually at least a 2 day per week 3-6 month committment is required.
A general position involves assiting with data entry, database management, website, and occasionally assisting our full time psychology assistants.
At this point in time we might consider someone such as a marketing intern with some experience in developing and targeting brochures, website content development, and other low-cost strategies. A psychology intern with excellent writing and website skills to update and add content to our websites would also be considered (this would be at least a 6 month committment).
A trustworthy intern for three months would also be considered to assist with computer data transfer (getting files off of old computers and archiving them, deleting sensitive files) and sale of outdated equipment and other surplus items on ebay. References required.
An intern to help scan records and who has good experience working wiht Microsoft Word templates to help us transition to Electronic medical records would also be considered.
An intern with strong English and Spanish writing skills and a background in psychology would also be conidered to translate pages on this website, neuropsychologycentral.com and other sites into Spanish. Also would consider other languages for material on neuropsychologycentral.com, as it serves an international audience.
Individuals should be able to demonstate ability to take respoinsibility for and complete projects.

After many years of outstanding service, our wonderful office manager will be retiring or semi-retiring. We are recruiting for an office manager / accounts / billing manager for
a multi-provider psychologist office. Minimal managed care other than Magellan, most of the insurance billing is BCBS. Should have accounts and office management experience, be dependable, trustworthy, professional creative, and proficient wiht computer insurance and accounting software. Experience with SOS Office Manager or similar computer billing accounting software is desirable.
