Caring for the mental health needs of our patients and consultation to our referral sources in the tradition of the "scientist-practitioner" model helps provide a sound responsible resource to the North Central Florida community. 

Our main office is in Gainesville, Florida, and we have a branch office in Ocala.

Professional and office staff are expected to interact with patients, referral sources, third-party payers in an honest and ethical manner.

Professional and office staff receive and maintain training to perform their duties with confidence and expertise, to remain appraised of ethical and legal demands of their roles, and to respect the diversity of the clients and referral sources we serve.

We are dedicated to providing quality psychological and neuropsychological consultation, assessment and psychotherapy services to the North Central Florida community.  We are committed to providing fair, comprehensive, and unbiased psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.

Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida. (CPANCF) is dedicated to providing psychological care at a doctoral level by individuals trained in Clinical Psychology and Counseling programs approved by the American Psychological Association .

Ernest J. Bordini, Ph.D., Executive Director, Licensed Psychologist , Executive Director

Dr. Bordini has special interests in neuropsychological and civil and criminal forensic assessment.  He has extensive experience in evaluating head injuries, ADHD, and other neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions. 

Benjamin Phalin, Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Phalin is interested in neuropsychological assessment and completed his dissertation study on sports concussions.  Dr. Phalin has special interests in traumatic brain injury and dementia.  He is experienced in forensic psychological and neuropsychological assessment.

 

Angela Alen-Peck, Psy.D., Psychology Resident

 Dr. Allen-Peck Joins us after completing her doctorate in psychology from Wheaton College in Illinous and completing her internship at the Shipley Institute for Living/Hartford Hospital, Hartford Connecticut.

  Amanda D. Ross, M.A., Psychology Intern

Ms. Ross rejoins us after previously working with our offices as a psychological assistant.  She  is completing an internship with our offices through the University of Akron, where she has garnered a variety of counseling and therapy experience in her doctoral program.  Ms. Ross will be performing assessment and therapy under the supervision of Drs. Bordini and Phalin.
