Dr.Bordini is a neuropsychologist who has practiced in the Gainesville & Ocala areas for more than 20 years. He is a founder of the local CHADD Chapter & the Florida Psychological Association (FPA) Neuropsychological Interest Division.  Dr. Bordini is the current owner/editor of www.NeuropsychologyCentral.com, a website founded by Jeff Brondke, Ph.D. with articles from neuropsychologists around the country.

Named an FPA Distinguished Psychologist, Dr.Bordini served six years as a member of the FPA Board of Directors, the first President of the FPA Neuropsychology Division, and as a past FPA Insurance & Practice Chair.

He has published in the areas of addiction, personality, & neuropsychological testing. He has testified in Federal & State Courts as an expert in psychology & neuropsychological assessment. He is Certified in the Treatment of Alcohol & Psychoactive Substance Abuse by the Board of Governors of the APA College of Professional Psychology.  He has served as the Lead Employee Assistance Program Provider for the City of Gainesville EAP for more than 10 years.

Dr. Bordini has nearly 20 years of private practice forensic experience in psychological and neuropsychological evaluation in forensic and employment settings. This has involved evaluation of medical and other personell for fitness for duty and professional practice disability, psychological and neuropsychological independent medical examinations, evaluations related to impaired physicians, and neuropsychological evaluation of traumatic and toxic brain injuries in civil and Worker's Compensation cases.  He has qualified as an expert in neuropsychology, post-traumatic stress disorder and clinical psychology in state and/or federal courts, the Florida Worker's Compensation System, and the Florida Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation system.

Dr. Bordini has presented lectures to forensic psychiatry fellows in the University of Florida Forensic Psychiatry Division Forensic Institute in his past role as a University of Florida Courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry.

His evaluation of criminal defendents began with experience at North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center, a state facility for involuntarily committed individuals who were incompetent to stand trial or not guilty by reason of insanity. His criminal assessments have largely involved the psychological or neuropsychological assessment of murder cases. He has experience with death penalty appeal cases and has evaluated a number of multiple homicide cases. Prominent cases include evaluation of serial killer Aileen Wournos for the prosecution and defense evaluation of William Wells.
