Stacy Carmichael, Ph.D. ABPP


Stacy Carmichael, Ph.D. ABPP is a licensed psychologist with a specialty in clinical child psychology. For the past six years she has worked as an independent practitioner, providing psychological evaluation and treatment to children, adolescents and adults regarding neuro-developmental, behavioral or socio-emotional concerns.
Dr. Carmichael has worked with a special focus on adults and couples dealing with Asperger’s Syndrome and parents of children on the autism spectrum. Dr. Carmichael provided pediatric psychology consultation and helped develop a psychology clinic at ChildServe, a non-profit multidisciplinary Autism Diagnostic and Treatment Clinic in Iowa.
Dr. Carmichael has received many different awards and honors including being recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology since 2007. Dr. Carmichael has also served her community by appearing on various public TV and newspaper interviews regarding autism and feeding disorders.
Dr. Carmichael has specialties in assessing children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and expert in the administration and interpretation of the ADOS-2.  She teams with Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida adult and pediatric neuropsychological staff to provide comprehensive autism-neuropsychological evaluation in our Ocala office and also provides pre-school and other child and pediatric assessments.
