Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida is currently recruiting for a child and adolescent psychologist to serve as our primary child and adolescent psychotherapist We will consider outstanding individuals for psychology resident. Must be license eligible, have completed dissertation defense, and APA approved internship.
Individuals must be high caliber individuals who can attract private pay patients and are willing to do what it takes to establish and maintain a private pay practice in addition to seeing municipal and law enforcement EAP patients through our contracts. A good opportunity exists for a child and adolescent psychologist to fill an anticipated vacancy due to one of our staff moving out of state and another retiring at the end of 2015. A good bit of groundwork in establishing the private pay practice is in place, but there may be an option to join one of the major insurance plans. Historically we have had a large focus on ADHD, developmental disorders, learning disability, Autism Spectrum disorder, pediatric psychology as well as mood and anxiety disorders. Malpractice insurance is covered by the practice. There is a non-compete agreement and unfortunately at this time we do not offer health insurance. There is a no compete clause, so this is designed for someone who want to build a practice and serve a role as being one of our associates for the long-term.

INTERNSHIPS - Unpaid volunteer positions. Gainesville Florida
Occasionally we will consider outstanding college students in or after their senior year or who are seeking experience in a dynamic clinic-like setting. Usually at least a 2 day per week 3-6 month commitment is required. A general position involves assisting with data entry, database management, website, and occasionally assisting our full time psychology assistants. At this point in time we might consider someone such as a marketing intern with some experience in developing and targeting brochures, website content development, and other low-cost strategies. A psychology intern with excellent writing and website skills to update and add content to our websites would also be considered (this would be at least a 6 month commitment).
A trustworthy intern for three months would also be considered to assist with computer data transfer (getting files off of old computers and archiving them, deleting sensitive files) and sale of outdated equipment and other surplus items on ebay. References required. An intern to help scan records and who has good experience working with Microsoft Word templates to help us transition to Electronic medical records would also be considered.
An intern with strong English and Spanish writing skills and a background in psychology would also be considered to translate pages on this website, neuropsychologycentral.com and other sites into Spanish. Also would consider other languages for material on neuropsychologycentral.com, as it serves an international audience.
Individuals should be able to demonstrate ability to take responsibility for and complete projects.

Trainee for Psychological Assistant (Psychometrician). We provide two months of free training to the successful candidate (minimum B.S. in psychology required) in exchange for a minimum one year commitment for a paid position administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological test batteries to adults and children in our Gainesville and Ocala offices and helping out with other tasks "as assigned". Detail oriented, energetic, and engaging individual that can meet demands for high standards of care. Must be team player and highly dependable.
