This period's issue involves a broad range of articles with a cluster of articles involving issues facing our firefighters, law enforcement, and first responders.  We have a second cluster of articles submitted by authors around the country.  This represents one of our most diverse issues to date.  Dr. Cummings continues her series on anxiety disorders, contributing an article on childhood obsessive-compulsive disorders.  Dr. Bordini has updated an article on medications for ADHD and one of his fellow UF Clinical and Health Psychology alumni, Dr. Max, has contributed an article involving applications for test accommodations.

Treatment principals and stages in treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders.  The 4th part of the first-responder alcohol/substance abuse series gives and overview of the range of treatment modalities and approaches for individuals at various stages of developing problems or addictions.

Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida was a recent co-sponsor of the NAMI Stop the Stigma fair and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, FL Dr Colleen Cummings and Dr. Regilda Romero greeted visitors.

We are congratulating Regilda A. Romero, Ph.D. on her recent licensure as a Florida Licensed Psychologist.  She had been previously licensed in Minnesota and completed further residency training in neuropsychology with our office. 
We are proud to announce renewal of our contract providing EAP services to City of Gainesville employees.

We continue to add some books/readings in Amazon links at the end of some pages and continue to work to reorganize the articles/archives page to make it easier to find the numerous articles on varying psychological topics.  On the left side of this page we have added links to some of our most popular of articles. Dr. Jamison's article on Effects of Divorce on Children remains one of the most popular artilces across man years. She was formerly an associate and now doing well in private practice in the Columbia, SC area. 

We have finally converted the website onto the same system we have this website making it easier to cross-reference articles and edit material.

Ideas about future things you would like to see are welcome as are of course financial contributions (not tax-deductible) to the site. Visit the website forums for the donation link.
