A Primer On How To Win The "Most Unethical Psychologist Of The Year Award" (Based on Florida Law Chapters 490 and 64B19) by Shauna Springer, Ph.D.
Online Course (Video) & 1 CE Credit.   This course reviews a number of Florida laws and regulations, and highlights several particular topics, such as the ethics of advertising, self-representation, record keeping, confidentiality, routine CEU requirements and specialty training requirements, sexual misconduct, and the penalties associated with various intentional and unintentional behaviors related to the practice of Psychology.  PsychoEducational Resources, Inc. Fleshing out the Newly Minted Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Girls and Women (A 2-credit Ethics Course) by Shauna Springer, Ph.D.   In 2007 the American Psychological Association approved the Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Girls and Women.  This course presents each of the 11 guidelines with the goals of both clarifying their foundational principles and offering several specific examples to render the guidelines more applicable to the process of providing therapy.  PsychoEducational Resources, Inc. PAST OFFERINGS OR ACTIVITIES:

Dr. Springer spoke Valentine's Day 2008.  The Science of Love - Free talk at the University of Florida.
 
Dr. Hurlock spoke on substance abuse in April 2008.  This was presented to University of Florda Occupational Therapists as part of the series on Psychiatric Disorders in Occupational therapy.
